All new bonnet was needed but found very quickly thru Classic Jaguar.since the pain on the shell was just a year old and done by the same body shop ( Alpine Jaguar ), there was no problem matching it…

Impact absorbtion... after the front end of the bonnet, the weel moves back, absorbs, then the open portion of the sill extention folds up agains the sill. Did the vacum tank also help absorb ?…

Engine is tilted and pushed back, nothing is straight...Frame rails sheared in multiple spots, absorbing the impact and protecting the body shell.
